Job Description

About the job About Actively AI Our thesis is that businesses of the future will be powered by agentic human-in-loop-machines that make every business function 10x more efficient. Actively AI is building that machine for sales & marketing, focused on accelerating pipeline generation. We power the day-to-day for outbound teams at dozens of companies like Ramp, Verkada, Ironclad, and Justworks. In addition to top-notch customers that love our product, our team is incredibly high caliber - the co-founders are former Stanford AI researchers and the engineering team comes from Harvard, CMU, Berkeley, Brex, Scale AI, and Google. We're also backed by top investors, including First Round Capital (seed investors in Uber, Square, Roblox, Clearbit), Lachy Groom, and Stanford AI faculty. We have a very ambitious product and scaling roadmap, there’s strong market interest in what we are doing, and it’s time to put the foot on the gas. If you get excited by the thought of working really hard on these kinds of problems with a high caliber team, then Actively AI is the right place for you. The role As Actively’s first Product Manager, you will be the bridge between our customers, engineers, and leadership team. You’ll be responsible for managing the product roadmap and working cross-functionally to ensure our product continuously evolves to meet customer needs. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have full ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution. Your efforts will directly impact the growth trajectory of the company. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy: Working with our co-founders, maintain the product vision and develop our full product roadmap. Help identify market opportunities and ensure our product evolves to meet customer and market demands. Customer-Centric Approach: Work closely with our customers to deeply understand their pain points, needs, and goals. Gather insights through direct interviews, surveys, and data analysis. Translate feedback into actionable product improvements and features. Roadmap & Prioritization: Build and maintain a clear product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision. Prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and customer success teams to ensure smooth product delivery. Collaborate with engineers to derive strong estimates of the work needed to build new best-in-class AI features. Act as the main point of contact for product-related questions and ensure alignment across all stakeholders. Execution & Delivery: Oversee the development and launch of new features and products. Create detailed product specs and user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure quality assurance. Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish key product metrics and use data to drive decisions and improvements. Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on insights. Go-to-Market & Communication: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create product messaging, demos, and documentation that clearly articulate value to customers. Support go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases. Qualifications 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS. Experience in an early-stage startup or fast-paced environment. Strong technical background and ability to work closely with engineering teams to build AI-powered features. Ability to translate complex AI technologies into user-friendly product features. Deep customer empathy, with the ability to understand how AI can solve real-world problems for businesses. Proven track record of launching successful products or features. Experience using product management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Trello, Asana) and analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics). Nice-to-Have Prior experience in SaaS sales or marketing. Familiarity with agile development practices. Prior experience working with AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) or other machine learning solutions.
