We’re seeking a Product Manager for AI/ML-powered data products at SatSure, who will play a crucial role in shaping our company’s future and advancing the integration of space technology and AI for humanity’s benefit. You’ll oversee data product development, from strategy and roadmap planning to launch and post-launch analysis. Your responsibilities include understanding stakeholder needs, benchmarking against competitors, and enabling effective go-to-market strategies for product, marketing, and sales teams. Collaborating closely with the data science team, you’ll ensure products meet customer needs, maintain product design documents, and align specifications to deliver innovative, impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
Defining the Bigger Picture
Research AI and industry-specific trends to identify opportunities for advanced analytics, AI, and ML.
Develop a compelling product vision, communicate it effectively, and align it with stakeholder needs.
Identify the right use cases and business cases for machine learning, while defining the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) and feedback loops.
Manage a product roadmap, ensuring it aligns future releases with the long-term strategy and follows Agile best practices.
Steering Product Development
Define success metrics for models and business outcomes, monitor performance, and track progress against these metrics.
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and developers to guide product development and define data/annotation strategies.
Manage the product backlog by prioritizing tasks, addressing issues like bugs and inconsistencies, and ensuring clarity for stakeholders.
Eliminate biases during testing to improve product functionality and decide on feature tradeoffs based on user experience data.
Driving Market Success
Lead product development, ensuring new offerings become successful by performing data analysis and supporting the team.
Partner with marketing teams to launch products and drive adoption while owning the entire data science product lifecycle.
Evangelize product value, explore monetization opportunities, and ensure compliance with responsible AI practices.
Oversee multiple products, manage production, and track metrics to continuously improve machine learning models.
Qualification
Bachelor’s in Technology and a Master’s degree in Business or a technology-related field.
Must-Have
At least 2 years of product management experience and 5 years in project management.
Strong first principles thinking, high agency, and familiarity with AI/ML, especially in the context of EO data.
Proven ability to conduct market research, manage product life cycles, and use data to guide product decisions.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage multiple projects effectively.
Good To Have
Deep understanding of geospatial data, especially satellite Earth observation (EO) data in either a tech or business role through past experiences.
